A: As long as you can travel to Adelaide on the dates for the event, you are welcome to apply and exhibit!
Q: I've never tabled before, where do I even start?
A: There's no real "correct answer" to this question, and everyone will have different goals in mind when it comes to tabling at artist alleys and creator's markets.
Though a good start would be this artist alley quick-start guide created by Hawberries (linked with permission).
Just keep in mind that this guide was last updated in 2017 so there's some outdated information such as card/'Square' readers not being much of a "necessity" as many transactions in artist and creator markets today are done by card, or pricing in the guide reflects pre-2020 prices - but much of the advice is still very relevant for anyone looking to start out tabling!
Q: Can I sell works made by others?
A: Artcade will not tolerate art theft, bootlegs, knock-offs, and other such products that you have not created yourself or with collaborators (with permission). Additionally, Artcade will not tolerate works that have been traced or plagiarised from other artists/sources/official art/etc.
If a stallholder is in violation of this they will be asked to leave the event.
Q: Can I sell, display, or promote works created by AI generative technologies?
A: Artcade will not accept works that you have not created yourself or with collaborators - this includes works made with AI generative technologies. If a stallholder is in violation of this they will be asked to leave the event.
Q: Can I sell, display, or promote any NFTs, cryptocurrency, and other related cryptocurrency products and/or advertisements?
A: Exhibitors are not allowed to sell, display, or promote any NFTs, cryptocurrency, and other related cryptocurrency products and/or advertisements. If a stallholder is in violation of this they will be asked to leave the event.

Q: Do you take cash/card?
A: Individual artists and creators will have their own means of taking payment but we recommend you bring cash just in case. At this current point in time an ATM machine will not be available at the event.
Armada Arndale and St Clair Village are shopping centres that are a 5-10 minute drive from St Clair Recreation Centre with ATM's and stores that offer cash-out.
Q: Is there food/catering at the event?
A: There are no food vendors at the Big Cheese or Artcade, however the St Clair Recreation Centre has a cafe where you can purchase food and drinks. Please refer to their website for more details.
Additionally a bar will be open with drinks for purchase (18+ with ID required). There are also free drinking water facilities at the St Clair Recreation Centre.
Q: My question isn't here/I would like to contact someone about my question.
A: Please send us an email at hello@adelaideartcade.org.
